70MW Kayamkulam-II Floating Solar PV Project


The 70MW floating solar PV power project at Kayamkulam is a part of the 92MW floating solar capacity under construction at various reservoirs of NTPC Rajiv Gandhi Gas based Power Station at Kayamkulam, Kerala. The project is a part of NTPC’s initiative to drive the floating solar market in India and the power generated shall be supplied to Kerala State Electricity Board through the 220kV GIS sub-station of NTPC Rajiv Gandhi Gas based power station.

The project is being developed under EPC model through M/s Tata Power Solar System Ltd. and the floaters and anchoring system are being supplied by M/s Ciel & Terre and M/s Adtech.
