250MW Ananthapuram Solar PV Project

The NTPC 250MW Ananthapuram Solar PV project has been developed at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh under the CPSU Scheme Phase-I of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India (MNRE). The project has been developed in 5 blocks of 50MW each through M/s Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd., M/s Sterling & Wilson, M/s BHEL and M/s Lanco Solar under EPC mode. As per the conditions on the CPSU Scheme, the project employs domestic (Indian) PV Modules & Cells (as per the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) clause of Scheme) and received Viability Gap Funding (VGF) from MNRE.
